Mark Letson.

Mark Letson began his career in the Charlotte, NC office in 1991, booking ECE’s roster of exclusive bands. In 1994, he moved to Atlanta to develop the company’s National Talent Buying Division. Since 2000, Mark has been based out of ECE’s headquarters in Richmond, VA and in 2016, Mark was invited to become a partner at ECE. He is an active member of IEBA (International Entertainment Buyers Association) and his accolades include IEBA College Buyer of the year and IEBA Corporate Buyer of the year (six-time nominee and three-time winner).

Mark’s role as Managing Director for ECE’s National Division involves helping select the right artist for each event and negotiating the best possible deal. He identifies the most suitable artists available based on the event type, client goal/vision, budget, target demographic, and location. Mark guides clients through the process of choosing the best band for their event, making offers, negotiating rider and production requirements, travel itineraries, managing day-of-show timelines, overseeing on-site coordination, and handling the multitude of details in between.

Over the course of Mark’s career, he has booked and produced more than 3000 national artists ranging from legendary performers such as Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett, James Brown, Ray Charles, The Allman Brothers and Steely Dan to contemporary favorites  Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, One Republic, Zac Brown Band, Gwen Stefani, The Avett Brothers and Tim McGraw. Averaging nearly 200 shows produced annually, this list is only a sampling of the wide array of artists we work with and events that we produce at ECE. From fraternity gigs to fairs, festivals, weekly series, large-scale corporate events, product rollouts, and private engagements, Mark and the team at ECE can produce any event, anywhere, depending on availability, budget, and event type.
